Deciding on Northwestern Mutual
I joined Northwestern Mutual upon graduation from the University of Middle Tennessee. I decided to join the organization based on the quality of people I experienced and Northwestern Mutual's reputation as the most admired company in the industry.

I enjoy the fact that I can make a living while having such a large impact on people's lives and maintaining the flexibility to set my own schedule.

The greatest challenge has been trying to maintain emotional balance as I experience the ups and downs of building a business.

The biggest challenge in the first few years was maintaining consistent activity and identifying enough people to move through my process on a regular basis.

But along the way, I've learned that I have a passion for the business and become energized when I know I've made an impact on someone else's life.

Career Advice
This is a get rich slow proposition. Successful people form the habit of doing things unsuccessful people are not willing to do. This career provides you with the vehicle to accomplish the goals you have set for you and your family.

For the right person, this is the greatest career in the world.

Outside of Work
