A Career Shift
Before I became a Financial Representative, I was in retail management. My father was an insurance representative for Metropolitan so I knew about the flexibility of the business. I also wanted the opportunity to help people with their insurance and financial goals.

The greatest reward to me has been the flexibility to work with the type of people I choose to work with, as well as the ability to take time off for things that are important to me.

The most challenging thing is having enough prospects to see.

What I've Learned
I believe this career has helped me discover what is really important to me in life. I have had several death claims and being able to help the deceased family with financial situations makes me realize I've made a difference in people's lives.

Looking Forward
I look forward to achieving my Chartered Life Underwriter designation.

This is not a short-term job. You have to be willing to work extremely hard with the payoff coming later in your career. We represent world class products and services, and deliver them without sacrificing integrity.

Outside of Work
I enjoy being involved in my church and the Gideon ministry. I enjoy doing things with my family.
