A Rewarding Career Choice
Before becoming a Financial Representative, I was in the advertising sales business. I wanted ownership in my career and the opportunity to work with those that I wanted to.

The greatest reward is the freedom and chance to build my own business. My clients appreciate what I do and I have a chance to make a real difference in many lives. I have also developed some great friendships with my clients.

I find the greatest challenges to be the issues of running a small business, such as who to hire, when to borrow, and delegating duties. Early on, the greatest challenge was not investing enough in my business and not being as selective with my clientele.

But I've learned that I enjoy working for myself and I am motivated internally to strive for success and recognition.

A Time I Made a Difference
A disability claim several years ago struck home. The spouse's benefit was enough to cover the basics and enable her husband to scale back his travel time and spend more time with his kids and care for his wife. Both are back at work and the kids are thriving in school.

A Worthy Milestone
Earning my Chartered Life Underwriter designation was worthwhile and has helped my practice and clientele in many ways.

Outside of Work
I have time to volunteer at my sons' schools and coach athletics in our community.
