| Making the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network Decision
Before becoming a Financial Representative, I was in teaching. Economics drove me to this career. Northwestern Mutual and Managing Partner sold themselves because of their quality products. I find the greatest reward to be helping people on an ongoing basis and the friendships I form. The greatest challenge is prospecting on a consistent basis. Along the way, I've learned that I am my own boss and I'm backed up by God. A Time I Made a Difference A 34-year-old father died after purchasing a second policy, intending the death benefit pay for college education. His plan has worked. The spouse teaches without financial worry and the kids are going to college. She has purchased a $1 million policy for her children and the children's legacy. Career Achievements and Advice Earning a place in the Million Dollar Round Table was a memorable milestone, and I look forward to retirement next. If you're considering this as a career, listen to your coach or mentor. Do what he or she says. Be disciplined and committed. The career is what you make of it. It can slide and it can be picked up. Our company is differentiated by its moral commitment to the policy holder. Outside of Work I enjoy spending time working with the Urban Boy Scouts, which is one of Northwestern Mutual's top 20 charities, and the North Florida Land Trust. H. Franklin Irwin III has been a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network since 1979. Visit his website to learn more about him, or call Franklin at 904-359-8461. |
